Hello everybody, and congratulations to any Germans that might be reading. Nice job there in Rio.

No new content this week. Instead, I’ve updated the PDF version of my book with the changes I did while I was revising chapter 3, chapter 4 and part of appendix A to post them on the blog. Also, I’m thinking of making an ebook version available through LeanPub: if you’re interested, visit the page I set up on their site and leave your feedback. There’s a page for the QuantLib Notebooks, too.

Going onwards: my summer schedule for the blog will be, well, no fixed schedule. I might post if I find something interesting, but on the whole I think I’ll take a step back and relax a bit. I’ll try to be back in autumn with some new material.

On the other hand, the good Jacob Bettany and his crew at MoneyScience will be available the whole summer to accept your registrations for my Introduction to QuantLib Development course. It’s three days in London (September 22nd, 23rd and 24th) in which I present material from Implementing QuantLib, you get to ask me questions and generally pick my brain, and I retaliate by making you do coding exercises and implement new instruments. I look forward to see you there.

I guess that’s all for now, folks. Enjoy your summer holidays.
